Here’s how to get official Windows 10 for free after July 29 too

Microsoft hasn’t yet closed the door all the way for those in search of a Windows 10 freebie.
You can still get your hands on a no-cost upgrade to Windows 10 by turning to a page for people who use assistive technologies.
Windows 10 had been a free upgrade to Windows 7 and 8.1 users. But that deal ended Friday, at least for most people.
You qualify for the free upgrade if you use assistive technologies, which include such features as a magnifier to better see the screen, a narrator to read text aloud, keyboard shortcuts and an on-screen keyboard. Such tech is “designed to provide additional accessibility to individuals who have physical or cognitive difficulties, impairments, and disabilities,” according to Microsoft.

Visiting A Torrent Website In India? Be Prepared To Face 3-Year Prison And Heavy Fine

India has always been a free heaven for accessing torrent websites, but it would now appear that even accessing these comes with a warning: three-year jail, and a possible fine of Rs 3 lakh. In the past, the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) has issued orders for blocking of websites, over illegal and pirated content, but new ones keep popping up. Even so, accessing a torrents website was not a problem for most Indian users, and none of the blocked URLs ever flashed a warning sign with the possible consequences. That is until now.
In a story first reported by India Today, some torrents websites, which are blocked, flash a warning note telling users that logging on to such websites is a criminal offense and carries punishment.

Windows 10 tip: Find your PC’s original product key

If you’ve purchased a new PC with Windows Pre-installed in the past few years, chances are it has a product key embedded in its BIOS. With a little Power Shell wizardry, you can find that well-hidden key and learn more about your current licensing status.
If you’ve purchased a new PC with Windows Pre-installed in the past few years, you might have noticed a few changes on the outside of the device.
The biggest change is the absence of a product key, which was included on the holographic Certificate of Authenticity (COA) sticker with PCs that came Pre-installed with Windows 7 or earlier versions.

The Windows 10 Anniversary Update is being rolled out to Windows 10 PCs across the world in phases starting with the newer machines first. You don’t have to do anything to get the Windows 10 Anniversary Update, it will roll out automatically to you through Windows Update if you’ve chosen to have updates installed automatically on your device. However, if you don’t want to wait for the update to roll out to you, you can manually get the update yourself on your personal PC.
